This is a charming vintage Japanesewhite senchawan ceramic tea cup. The shape of this cup fits the hands very comfortably, and adds a pleasing tactile component to enjoying a cup of tea. It features white calligraphy rendered in a loose flowing style on a brown glaze. This cup was high fired for lasting durability.

It measures 2 1/2" (6 cm) in diameter by 4" (10 cm). Having been in storage it remains in fine condition.
