Vintage Japanese Hagoita 羽子板 Decorative Paddle Geisha 28"

This is a vintage Japanese decorative Hagoita ( 羽子板 paddle). It's traditionally used for a lively game call Hanetsuki where players hit a feathered "birdie" somewhat like badminton. This is a festive actively played during the New Year's season and come with added benefit of helping to drive away evil spirits.
