A Vintage Bronze Singing Bowl Buddhist Alter Meditation Zazen 4.75"

This bell has an amazing sound that we find superior to most of our other Orin of this size.

This is a Japanese bronze Orin singing bowl. This style of bowl is favored by Japanese Buddhist sects for its tone. Often used to begin and end meditation sessions or when praying at the family alter. This bowl has a sustained audible ring of over 1 minute measures 4.75" in diameter and stands 2.5" tall (12 x 6.6 cm). Weight = 14.9oz.

 With exception to some signs of use, oxidation and a decades old patina this bronze Orin remains in good condition.
