Antique Japanese Meiji Era (C. 1900) Cast Iron Tansu Handle
This is a Japanese tansu drawer handle from a 120 year old Japanese tansu (see examples in pictures 11 & 12 - both currently in stock). It is solid cast iron with an original burnt lacquer finish and all of its original patina.
It measure 4.5" wide 11.5 cm) . The distance between mounting holes would be 2 3/4" (7 cm).
