Japanese Antique Edo Era C.1820 Zitann Blackwood Netsuke Man Door Handle

This is a 200 year old antique door or drawer handle made of a very dense Chinese zitan (blackwood). It is intricately carved and is flat on the backside for mounting to door or drawer. The man's hands are extended forward to offer a handle from which to pull open a devise. One leg is bent backward as if to give more leverage and both legs have some loss (see pictures). There is inset bone? on both eyes.

Measures 3" tall (8 cm). Overall, other than the loss to the legs , it remains in very good condition.
