Koro

This is a Japanese bronze Koro or Incense burner. This koro is decorated Either side is flanked with a pair of horn shaped handles, the lid is crowned with a shi-shi (foo dog) over a cloud transom to let the smoke through. A beautiful eye-catching statement piece.

it stands 4.5" tall and 5" wide with the handles and 2.5" front to back ( 11.5 x 12.5 x 10cm). Other than an aged patina, some minor oxidation it remains in  very good condition.
