Japanese Ceramic Ikebana Vase With kenzan Flower Frogs Attached Black 15"

This is a slab made ceramic Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) vase. The glaze is matt black. The walls are all very slightly tapered lending an understated quality to the piece. The unobtrusive nature of this vessel will accent ostentatious arrangements very well. The heavy ceramic at 4 lbs. provides a sturdy base for large and tall arrangements. Measuring 15" wide by 3 1/2" tall by 4" deep (38 x 10 x 10cm) this vase remains in very good condition.
