Large Japanese Ceramic Ikebana Vase With 2 kenzan Flower Frogs Attached Tan 15"

This is a hand thrown ceramic Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) vase. The glaze is a complex and abstract mix of shapes colors and muted tones. In the center of the bowl are two spiny flower frogs or kenzan adhered to the bottom of the vessel making easy work of prepping your vase for flowers. The heavy ceramic at 9 lbs provides a sturdy base for larger and taller arrangements. Measuring 15" in diameter by 3 1/2" tall ( 38 x 19 cm) this vase remains in very good condition.
