Vintage Bronze Tibetan Buddhist Hand Heald Prayer Wheel

This is a vintage Tibetan prayer wheel. In Tibetan Theravada Buddhism there are prayers written on the sides of the wheel made of metal letters. when spun the prayers fly out in all directions (presumably by centrifugal force) to better the whole world.

This wheel measures 9" long and 2 1/2" in diameter(23 x 6 1/2 cm) and remains overall in fine condition.
