Vintage Chinese Vase Bowl Stand Red Pedestal Display For 3" Bowl Or Vase

This vintage or possible Chinese vase stand has a lite wood stained finish that reveals the fine wood grain. The hardwood is likely a type of rosewood, hongmu or perhaps another very dense hardwood. It has a rich red color with a high base with five legs supporting a lotus design. It supports 3" diameter vessels at the base (inside dimension).

Having been in storage for decades, with exception to minor signs of use it remains in fine condition and are in good polish. Overall it measures about 4 1/4" in diameter by 2 3/4" tall (11 x 7 cm). An excellent way to set off decorative ceramics like bowls, pots and vases by giving them a pedestal.
