Vintage Japanese Ceramic Amari Chestnut Tsukemono Pickle Side Dish 5"

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic dish for tsukemono, pickles, relish, wasabi and other condiments.It has brown chestnuts stenciled in traditional blue and white amari style.This dish was high fired for lasting durability. Marked with a stenciled mark on the bottom.

This bowl measures 6" by 4 1/2" by 1 1/2" tall (15.3 x 11.5 x 3.8 cm). Having been long forgotten in storage in the back of a small town general store for decades these dishes have seen no use and remain in fine condition.This listing is for one dish, available in multiples.
