Vintage Japanese Hand Crafted Bamboo Flower Ikebana & Bonsai Stand Kadai

This is a vintage Japanese ikebana flower/bonsai stand called 花台). It is made of durable bamboo and has the traditional shape of two offset rectangles. Having been in storage for over 50 years, this kadai remains in very fine condition. This kadai measures 14" long by 8" wide by 1/2" tall (35.5 x 20 x 1 cm).
