Vintage Japanese Taisho Era (C.1920) Hand Carved Boxwood Inkan Name Stamp 3/4"

This is an antique Japanese hand carved name stamp known as an inkan. In Japan and China one does not sign, but rather stamp ones name with a chop or inkan like this one. Made in the late Taisho era (c. 1920's) of a hard durable boxwood.

It measures 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall (1.8 x 6 cm). With exception of some ink stains and minor signs of past use, it remains in very fine condition.
