This is a 8" x 11" giclée reproduction print of a Japanese Meiji era ukiyo-e (woodblock print) from the series "New Forms of Thirty-six Ghosts" c.1891. It is by the great Japanese artist Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (1839 to 1892). Priest Raigo of Mii Temple Transformed by Wicked Thoughts into a Rat (Mii-dera Raigo-ajari akunen nezumi to henzuru zu).
This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan taken of the original Yoshitoshi print in our collection n with a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigment inks.
This measures 7.75" tall by 11" wide (20.5 x 28 cm) including the 1/2" border. The print is in new condition.
