School House Antique American (C.1860) School House Wall Clock Gong

This a gong that came out of an American school house octagonal wall clock. It should work in most any wall clock where the gong is attached into the interior back of the clock. It has a deep long lasting resounding bong when struck. It is made of iron. and measures

Its solid wood case measures 19" tall by 12 1/2" wide by 4" deep (48 x 31 x 10 cm). The dial is 4 1/2" in diameter (11 cm) and sets about 1" high. Overall it is in very good condition.
