Antique Carved Wood Block sacred text blocks hanging art

This is an antique Japanese (c. 1800's) wood cut used to make the impression in printed books. This impression used gold ink in on the pages and looks to be from a book of zen sutras. We now have two of these in our collection both are black with gold ink on the text. 

They measure 13x20
