Antique Chinese Late Qing c1900 "Xuande" Mark Ceramic Hand Painted Plate Dish 5"

This is an antique hand painted Chinese porcelain plate likely made in the very late Qing Dynasty c 1900. This plate has a traditional design using peonies, a butterfly and other flora. Marked on the back "Made during the Xuande reign" in honor of the Ming Dynasty's 5th Emperor, a highpoint in arts and culture. Wax seal indicates that it was approved for export during the mid 20th century. 

This plate remains in fine condition. Measures 5 1/4" in diameter by 3/4" tall (13 x 2 cm).
