Antique Chinese Bed Qing Dynasy c1750's Ironwood Platform Tielimu

This is an antique Chinese Qing dynasty platform bed from the early or mid 1700's. Make of solid ironwood (tielimu 铁力木). Brough from Bejing to Hong Kong in the early 1980's it was professionally re-strung in traditional methods and material by the Hong Kong antique gallery where it was last sold in 1990's. This is a far superior restoration than simple wooden board that are sometimes used. The black lacquer finish was waxed with beeswax and polished.
