This exquisite piece of antique 100+ year old Japanese hand woven cotton features traditional designs created using the traditional tsutsugaki dyeing technique.
Tsutsugaki involves hand-drawing patterns with a resist paste, resulting in intricate and vivid designs. 

Decorated with a flowering plum tree and a pari of wood ducks. Also a family crest or Kamon.
