Antique Japanese Abacus 126 Dark Wooden Bead 21 Decimal Soroban W/String 13.5"

This is an antique Japanese 126 bead Abacus known as a soroban. It features a solid jointed wood frame, no nails or tacks used in its construction, as well as a wooden dowel rod and cross beam board with durable dark stain throughout the frame.

This abacus measures 13 1/2" wide by 3" tall by 3/4" deep(30.5 x 7 x 2 cm). With the exception of a few chipped beads, visible in the images above, it remains in good condition.
