Antique Japanese C1900 Set Of 2 Small Bronze Candel Sticks For Buddhist Alter

This is a set of two antique Japanese bronze candlesticks c. 1900. Theses types of candlesticks are used at a butsudan (Buddhist shrine) when chanting and praying. Very traditional and an authentic piece of Japanese Buddhism. They are hand turned into these lovely piece of functional art.

The candlesticks measure almost 4 1/4" high by 1/4" at its widest diameter (11.5 x .5 cm). Having been only gently used on a few occasions nearly a hundred years ago there is only some oxidation on the bronze finish. These candlesticks remain in condition.
