Antique Japanese C1920 Set 2 Copper Large Hikite Sliding Fusuma Door Pulls
This is a set of two (2) antique Japanese Taisho Era (c. 1920) (finger pulls) handles for fusuma (sliding Japanese doors) or tansu sliding doors. Made of copper and copper alloy and with holes on the top and bottom for mounting. These are decorated with a leaf motif, possibly peony leaves. Aside from some oxidation and a hundred years of patina, this set of hikite handles remain in very good condition ready to be incorporated into your next project or simply be used for decoration. Great for repairs, replacements or to give some true character to a new creation. They each measure 5" wide by 5 3/4" tall by about 1/2" thick (12.5 x 14.5 x 1.2 cm).
