Antique Japanese Chadansu Tea Display Tansu Hongmu 36"H

This is a stunning display Tansu in solid Chinese hardwood (likely Hongmu or rosewood). Made in the early 1900's in China for the Japanese market. It has one drawer, two cabinets and three open display areas. often used in the practice of Japanese tea ceremony.

All doors are beautifully hand carved in traditional motifs with pine trees and clouds.
