Antique Japanese Meiji Era Chobadansu Keyaki Elmwood Tansu Chest 34"W

This is an antique Japanese Chobadansu or merchant chest. The highly figured wood grain is stunning in all Keyaki exterior and Sugi interiors. As well as being a statement piece this Chobadansu has a lot of storage and display area with 6 drawers and two cabinet areas behind sliding and lift out doors.
