This in an antique Japanese Taisho era c. 1920's three piece clothing chest or Ishodansu. Designed originally for kimono, obi and accessories. In all there are 5 drawers in two sizes, one cabinet with sliding doors and another with three pullout shelves. Made of Kiri wood (paulownia) on the face and exterior case.
