Antique Japanese Edo Era c1800's Imari Ceramic Bowl Koi Fish Cobalt Blue 8"

This is an antique Japanese late Edo Era (c. 1850) Imari ceramic bowl. It's all hand painted with a design that features a cobalt Koi fish with pine needles. This combined motif symbolizes strength and perseverance. The plate is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. 

Two of these bowls were available at the time of listing. One bowl per order. 

This bowl measures 8" long by 7" wide by 2 1/2" tall (21.5 x 8.25 cm).

This bowl remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Some wear on the gold helps indicate the age and authenticity.
