Antique Japanese Edo Era C1840 Imari Ceramic Shallow Bowl Shochikubai 6"

This is an antique Japanese Edo Era (c. 1840) Imari ceramic bowl all hand painted in gold, blue, red and green with design of flowers, pines, bamboo and plum blossoms. A very auspicious collection of decorations called This plate measures 8 1/2" in diameter by 3 1/4" tall (21.5 x 8 cm). Having been in storage for most of the past century this plate remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
