Antique Japanese Early 1900's Ikebana Basket Kago Vase 17”

This is an antique Japanese hand woven bamboo basket or Kago from the early 1900s. Traditionally used in the Japanese  flower arranging called Ikebana.

It is about 17 inches tall, including a handle and about 6 inches in diameter. It is in good anti-condition in spite of several broken bamboo pieces.
