Antique Japanese Imari Ceramic Kutani Style Hand Painted Bowl Bamboo Handle 8"

This is an antique Japanese probably Taisho Era (c. 1920's) imari ceramic bowl with a hand painted design of a swallow, wisteria and other flowers on a lake shore. The bowl is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. Please enjoy the closeup photos to admire the finely painted details in deep orange, purple, blue and green with outlines in gold. The handles are made of bent bamboo.

This bowl measures 8 1/2" in diameter by 3 1/2" tall (21.5 x 9 cm). It's about 8" at the top of the handles. Having been in storage and carefully displayed for much of the past century this beautiful piece of imari remains in fine condition. Marked "Hand Painted JAPAN"
