Antique Japanese Meij Era 1868-1912 Stenciled Imari Tea Cup Ceramic 3"

This is an antique Japanese tea cup (dating back probably to the mid to late Meiji Era. Typically used for drinking hot tea or cold sake these days it may even be used as dipping bowl for noodle, hold sauce or spices and otherwise a nice all purpose items for food service. Made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. It has a stenciled and hand painted design and artist signature. 

This bowl measures 3 3/8" in diameter by 2 5/8" tall (8.5 x 6.5 cm). It remains in very fine condition.
