Antique Japanese Meij Era C1890 Imari Stenciled Senchawan Ceramic Set of 2

This is an antique Japanese set of cups called Senchawan dating back probably to the mid to late Meiji Era (c. 1890). Typically used for hot sencha tea. Made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. It has a stenciled design in blue outside and in. 

This listing is for the pair of matching senchawan.

They measure 3" in diameter by 2 1/2" tall (7.5 x 6 cm). It remains in very fine condition.  22L269
