Antique Japanese Meiji 1800'S Imari Ceramic Bowl W/ Lake Boats & House 8"

This is an antique Japanese late Edo Era (c. 1860) ceramic plate hand painted with design of flowers, clouds, and traditional patterns. In the center is a tranquil scene of a hut by a lake with mountains and boats in the distance. The plate is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. This deep bowl measures just over 8" in diameter by 2 3/4" tall (20 x 7 cm). Having been in storage for most of the past century this bowl remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Some wear on the gold helps indicate the age and authenticity.
