Antique Japanese Meiji Era C. 1880 Imari Ceramic Bowl Floral Bird & Scenic

This is an antique Japanese Meiji Era (c. 1880) hand painted Imari ceramic bowl with a floral and scenic designs. It has a unique glazed footing (see pictures8, 9, & 10) which was used in the late Edo era until mid Meiji to allow the outer bottom circumference to be glazed. This bowl was fired in a wood fired kiln at high temperture for lasting durability.

It measures 9 1/2" in diameter by 3" tall (24 x 7.5 cm). Overall in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
