Antique Japanese Meiji Era C. 1910 Signed Imari Ceramic Bowl Chestnuts

This is an antique Japanese late Meiji Era (c. 1910) combination hand painted and transfer print Imari ceramic bowl with designs of chestnuts.  It has an artists signature or mark on the bottom and has an unusual oval shape. This bowl was fired in a wood fired kiln at high temperture for lasting durability.

It measures 5 3/4" long by 4 1/2" wide and by 1 1/4" tall (14.5 x 11.5 x 3 cm). Having been used lovingly it remains in very fine condition .
