Antique Japanese Meiji Era (C1910) 7" Ceramic Blue/ White Imari Dish Bamboo

This is an antique Japanese late Meiji Era (c. 1910) Imari ceramic dish. It is utilizing a transfer print technology that came to Japan in the late 1800's. The design is of bamboo and chrysanthemum. It has a brown scalloped rim.

This dish measures 7 1/4" across by 1" high (18 x 2.6 cm) and it remains in very good condition. An excellent serving dish and also great for serving a variety of appetizers. It is truly a work of stand alone art.
