Antique Japanese Meiji Era Full Sized Samurai Armor w/ Helmet

Antique Japanese Full Sized Samurai armor for display and costume.

This Armor is maid of steal plating held together with silk cords. The steel has not been formed in any traditional way, and the armor itself does not fit into any historical period. Instead it is a hodgepodge of visually appealing armor styles fromDifferent points in Japanese history. While not historically accurate it is a statement piece and a conversation starter. 

This armor consists of only the helmet, torso box, soda (big square shoulder panels) the  paneled skirt and upper leg protection skirt. It does NOT have the armored sleeves, shin guards, shoes or belt.

The armor is very small and may be the right size for a young teenager of short stature. It came to us from Japan among our many other treasures.
