Antique Japanese Shamisen Doukake Side Cover For Dou (Body) Chrysanthemum

This is a Japanese doukake which is placed on the side of the shamisen body. These are used to protect and add style to the instrument. Made of silk This doukake measures about 8 1/2" any 4" (21.5 x 10 cm). Having been well used and well loved the fabric remains in  good antique condition. Please note wear makes in the attached photos. There are no stamps on the back, however, this one seems to be the same as those that are stamped with the size 五厘大 "gorindai". Please note the shamisen body seen in the photos is not included in the sale of this listing.
