Antique Japanese Taisho (C1920) Hand Made Bamboo Basket Kago With Handle

This is an antique Japanese basket intricately woven with tsutsu dake (aged bamboo). It weights 1 lb 5 oz. It has been in storage for over half a century and with exception to some missing parts on the rim (see last two pictures), this basket remains in  very good condition. It measures 18" long (45.5 cm) by 13" wide (33 cm) by 9" tall (23 cm )(16" tall (40.5 cm) including the handle).
