Contemporary Hansho Bell by Portland Artist Phil Seder

This Japanese inspired steel Denso Bell has a clear, rich tone. It resembles the type of bell used in Zen Monasteries to call monks to service. It features a wooden frame, and a metal sculpted hook in the shape of a fur tree. The Portland wood worker and artist Phil Seder  knows  how to express the spirit of the PNW  with his work.
