A Chinese hardwood plant stand (花架, huā jià) of substantial presence, the circular top lacquered in deep reddish-brown and painted with a polychrome dragon medallion in orange, red, and gold — a bold decorative accent above densely carved apron panels pierced with scrolling foliage and confronting figures. Four cabriole legs with pad feet support the piece and flare outward with confident proportion, joined at mid-height by a shaped stretcher. The ebonized hardwood finish is consistent throughout, lending the stand a formal, lacquer-cabinet weight appropriate to its display function.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The lacquered top shows expected wear, paint loss, and minor crazing to the decorative medallion. Carving crisp and intact; no breaks or repairs noted to the frame or legs.
