A waisted, panel-sided cloisonné vase in the classic Chinese jingtailan tradition, worked on a mid-blue ground with polychrome floral sprays — cherry blossom, chrysanthemum, and foliage — with a butterfly in flight. The shoulder carries a red scalloped border; the neck repeats the blue ground with scrolling foliate detail. Brass mounts at neck, shoulder, and foot. Unglazed brass base.
