Antique c.1900 Meiji Era Japanese Ceramic Imari Plate Cranes w/ Landscape 6"

This is an antique late Meiji Era (c.1900) Japanese Imari ceramic plate with a transfer print design of a roofed structure with people sitting beneath it. A sculptured pine tree sits in the foreground as a tall mountain floats above. A popular landscape of the Meiji era.

 It measures 6" in diameter by 1 1/2" tall. Having been in storage for over 150 years, with the exception of some minor production flaws it remains in fine condition. A great size for serving something very special.
