Rare Antique 24" Japanese Meiji Era (c1900) Kutani Imari Charger Platter

This is a huge antique Japanese Kutani ceramic charger. All hand painted with very intricate designs of various scenes from around Japan during different seasons. good look at some of the close up photos to appreciate the art work. It was high fire for lasting durability. It is marked on the bottom 九谷製 大日本 (Kutani-sei Dainippon), "Kutani Made in Great Japan."

Toyokuni This charger measures 24" across (61 cm) and remains in  excellent condition. Great as a serving plate and also great for serving a variety of appetizers. It is truly a work of stand alone art.
