A guaranteed authentic and rare set of three Japanese One Sen bronze coin minted in Tokyo in 1922, 1923 and 1924. In Japan these are the 11th, 12th and 13th years of the Taisho era (during the reign of Emperor Yoshihito. Having the characters, "Dai Nippon" (great Japan) with a clear crest of the paulownia mon (a famous family crest) in the center. On the obverse chrysanthemum blossoms and ー錢 "one sen". Chrysanthemum blossoms symbolize Japan's imperial family and are often used on currency.
Overall, these coin are in fine condition with minimal wear, a very clear strike and having with a nice patina. Measures 7/8" in diameter (2.1 cm). Approximately the size of a US quarter.
