Japanese Bronze Koro Incense Burner w/ Foo Dogs 6.5"

This is a Japanese bronze Koro or incense burner. This koro is elaborately decorated with three foo dogs faces around the sides and one atop the lid.. Either side is flanked with a pair of handles in the form of mythical creatures tongues extended. A beautiful eye-catching statement piece.

It stands 6.5" tall and 6" wide with the handles and 4.25" front to back (16.5 x 15 x 11 cm). Other than an aged patina and some minor oxidation it remains in very good condition.
