Japanese Tsumugi Silk Kimono Hand Spun/Woven/Painted Boulders Stream Gray

This vintage Japanese kimono is made of pure tsumugi silk. The scene of boulders in a mountain stream is all hand painted on gray hand spun and hand woven silk. A rare piece showing a very high degree of technical difficulty and artistic genius. Red hanko stamp serves as a signature of the artist.
