A ceramic chasen holder (茶筅立て) in a smooth, glossy pale celadon-blue glaze, the bulbous footed form designed to cradle and preserve the prongs of a bamboo matcha whisk between uses. Storing a chasen upright on a holder maintains the shape of the prongs and extends the life of the whisk. The interior cup opening accommodates standard chasen handles. Clean, simple form with no decoration. New, unused.

Handmade 100-prong Tea Whisk bamboo matcha chasen — hyappondate style 

A handmade bamboo chasen (茶筅) in the hyappondate (百本立) style — 100 hand-split prongs fanning from a single bamboo handle, each tip finished with a small loop. Marketed under the Chikundo (竹雲堂) label. The dense prong count produces a fine, stable foam well suited to both usucha (thin tea) and koicha (thick tea). Supplied in a clear protective storage canister. New, unused.
