A handmade bamboo chasen (茶筅) in the hyappondate (百本立) style — 100 hand-split prongs fanning from a single bamboo handle, each tip finished with a small loop. Marketed under the Chikundo (竹雲堂) label. The dense prong count produces a fine, stable foam well suited to both usucha (thin tea) and koicha (thick tea). Supplied in a clear protective storage canister. New, unused.
