Japanese Antique early 1900's Jurojin Rough Hewn Statue Wabi-Sabi 11.5"

This is an antique Japanese statue of Jurojin (also Fukurokuji), the god of Prosperity and longevity. He leans on his staff in quiet serenity from a long life well lived. This piece is made of a single limb of a keyaki tree leaving most of the tree part in tact.

A beautiful example of the wabi-sabi aesthetic.
