Kawase Hasui Giclee Woodblock Print "Calm at Kasaki" c1943 11"x17"
This is a giclée reproduction print of a Japanese Showa era ukiyo-e (woodblock print) titled Calm at Ksaki c. 1943 by the great Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883 to 1957).
This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan taken of the original Kitsu print in our collection with a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigments inks. In the second photo you can see that an image of the embossing from the original has been rendered in the reproduction.
This is essentially actual size at the standard measurements of 17" tall by 11" wide (39.5 x 26.5 cm) including a 1/2" wide border. The print is in new condition.
